Wild Rover Tours · Central Dublin, 2 pickup points

Two hours at the cliffs, two in Galway

A coach day from central Dublin with a guaranteed two hours at the Cliffs of Moher and another two in Galway, with Bunratty and the Burren seen on the way. It is the most reviewed Cliffs of Moher day trip we list, and it costs less than half of the rail tour.

Cliffs of Moher, Wild Atlantic Way & Galway by Coach

About this experience

Wild Rover runs this from two pickup points, one north and one south of the Liffey, at about 6:55 AM. The coach heads west past Bunratty Castle (a slow drive past, no stop) to the Cliffs of Moher, where you get two hours with the visitor centre admission included. Then it runs through the Burren, with a short stop when the weather permits, to Galway for a guaranteed two hours. A 30-minute walking tour of the city is on offer, or you can head off alone.

The coach is back on D'Olier Street, near O'Connell Bridge, at about 7:40 PM, depending on traffic. That is a 13-hour day with a lot of road. There is no toilet on board: the coach stops about every two hours. The operator also warns guests prone to motion sickness that the roads wind, and it cannot promise front seats.

Pricing is simple. Everyone from 3 to 25 books as youth and from 26 as adult, at the same from-price. Children aged 2 and under cannot travel. Luggage, suitcases included, can come along for free, which helps if you are moving on to Galway.

  • Two hours at the Cliffs of Moher, admission included
  • A guaranteed two hours in Galway with an optional walking tour

Awesome experiencing the trails of the cliffs, a guide that will be there if you have any questions and will also tell you about history, historic sites, stories and many more things. You might experience different weather, so pack some weatherproof clothes.
